Rite
of Catholic Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
Need
Confirmation or another sacrament? Just want to know more about
our faith? Then RCIA is the right place for you. The Rite of
Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a comprehensive program
of weekly classes where a team of parishioners and clergy
instructs attendees in a broad range of Catholic doctrines,
Scriptures, practices and history. It is a good way to meet a
cross-section of our parish family too. Classes are Tuesdays from September
9 until Holy Week, 2009 from 7-9PM in Croghan Hall.
Registration and materials are free. Registering involves no
commitment other than class attendance with an open mind. The
program is available on a case-by-case basis to young people or
others who may have good reasons for not participating in other
catechetical programs. To register or for more information, call
