Sunday Evening Mass at
5:30PM
Effective May 4, 2008
In response to the feedback in the parish survey that was conducted in December, the Sunday evening Mass will move to 5:30PM on May 4, 2008. The majority of those who weekly attend the Sunday evening Mass and the overwhelming majority of those who regularly attend stated that they would prefer an earlier hour.

School POP
ART Party
Our 4th Annual POP Art Party will be April 18 at Thornblade Country Club. Tickets are $50/person. Join us for our largest fundraiser of the year. Your child’s dream playhouse, 8’ x 8’ complete with windows, a door and front porch, is now under construction on the school grounds. You will have the chance to bid on this playhouse, as well as an amazing array of gifts and trips while enjoying an evening with friends. There will be great food, lively music, dancing and an open bar. Call 331-3900, Ext. 4026 to reserve your tickets. If you have any questions, please call the school at 331-3911.

surround you as you go down the path of light and laughter.” – Helen Marshall
Religious Education News
We have four more classes for Grades 1-8. Our last class is April 30 for Grades 1-8 and May 4 for Sunday School. Please try to get your children here by class time.
First Holy Communion is April 13 at the 9AM and 11AM Masses. Please be sure and take a Prayer Partner from the narthex of the church and pray for one of our students as they receive their First Holy Communion.
Registration for next year: I look forward to ending this year successfully; thank you for all your cooperation. We will be accepting registrations and fees for next year starting April 16. We recommend you register and pay your fee early to guarantee your child’s place and preferred class time. No need to fill out a new registration form; just pay the fee of $50 per child; $140 maximum per family. Make checks payable to Prince of Peace. A copy of your child’s Baptism certificate is required at registration if we do not have it already on file. Please notify the RE department of any changes in your family’s information. Please note that for Sacramental Preparation, a child must be attending religious education classes regularly and have been in a religious education program one year prior to the reception of a sacrament.
Please be reminded that there is NO Sunday School on April 13 due to First Holy Communion. Classes resume on April 20.
EWTN Comes to Prince of Peace
Steve Wood, host of EWTN’s live radio program Faith & Family, will lead the high school youth group in a study of St. Paul’s letter to the Romans during the month of April. Steve usually charges $50 a person for his classes, but he has graciously offered to do the classes for FREE! All he asks in return is that you invite at least one other person to come (in person or via Email). So bring a Bible and a friend! Classes are Wednesdays in April at 6:30PM in Croghan Hall. For more information, call John Marigliano 331-3903.
