Minor Miracle!

Last Saturday in the misty rain, thirty people from surrounding parishes gathered in prayer. They prayed for the intercession of the holiest mothers asking for a miracle. They asked that a child’s life might be saved that day. You have to get up pretty early to make a miracle happen, so they gathered at 8AM outside the abortion clinic on Grove Road. I don’t know whether it was the collective power of prayer, or just having a caring face to say that there is hope, but something unusual happened that day. Two cars changed their course. The latest statistics indicate that there is an average of 3,700 abortions performed daily. This past Saturday, there were two less. Special thanks to the following members of the High School Youth Group for joining in: Kyle Griffin, Michael Brushaber, Kevin & Peter Barnett and Theresa Wersinger. Our youth plan to participate on a more regular basis. Contact John Marigliano for more details at 331-3903.
