Sodality of Saint Monica
Saint Monica is known
and loved by Catholics as the persistent mother who through her many years of
prayer, fasting and bitter tears won the grace of conversion for her son,
giving the Church one of the greatest minds and one of the most enduring
saints: Saint Augustine. St. Monica’s love for her son moved her to storm
heaven and would not give up until the prayer was answered. She teaches us the
importance of patience and persistence in prayer. St. Monica is venerated as a
powerful intercessor for those who have wandered from the Catholic Church for
another denomination or stopped practicing their Faith altogether.
The Prince of Peace
Sodality of St. Monica is a fellowship of parishioners dedicated to praying
for the return of loved ones to the Sacraments and supporting those whose
family members have left the Church.
