It is our belief that young children have a broad capacity for learning. It is also our belief that parents of children ages one through four seek a quality, nurturing, Christian environment for their preschoolers.
The Prince of Peace Child Development Center will offer a safe, cheerful
and loving atmosphere for this first formal learning experience outside the
home. Daily
hands-on activities coupled with a qualified caring staff will nurture the whole
child -- spiritually, intellectually, morally, socially, emotionally and
physically.
To fulfill the philosophy of the CDC as set forth above, we have
established the following objectives for the Center:
To offer a curriculum in a Catholic environment for the children of God. (Students in K-3 and K-4 will attend a monthly prayer service) |
To offer exercises to experiment with the arts and sciences |
To offer interaction with peers and other adults outside the family |
To offer opportunities to work through
emotions in a healthy manner |
To offer activities to develop a positive self-image. |
To offer opportunities to increase gross and fine motor skills. |
